The Western Maternal and Child Health Nutrition Partners provide MCH nutrition professionals with training with a public health focus and emphasis on MCH populations and services – education and training are designed to improve workforce capacity and foster leadership in program development and administration, systems integration, education, and nutrition services. Technical assistance activities are provided to local, state, and national organizations serving MCH populations while working in collaboration with State Title V and other MCH programs focusing on the 13 Western States (members of the Nutrition Leadership Network), to address the needs of the MCH community.
